Beautiful Brunette by SupaSmashSketcher Beautiful Brunette by SupaSmashSketcher
A beautiful woman which has been vexelised. I am very proud of this here piece as it is my very first vexel work and somehow turned out well- in my opinion.

It was a hard picture to do, but I enjoyed doing it though. Most tutorials I read say to get a large picture for obvious reasons but I saw this one and had to do it. It was only 500x621 odd pixels- which caused many problems with colours i.e. when setting the blend mode to colour, some of those purples and yellows stayed so I had to improvise the proper colours.

This took about.. 15 hours to do on photoshop. Yea but it was my first time and did it loosely over a two week period.

Must say my favourite part has to be the eye- I think it looks quite realistic no?

thanks very much. To be honest I'm not sure, it was a random woman I found on the internet somewhere and thought that she would be great to do a vexel piece on... ^^;

I must admit, I added this whilst looking at the thumbnail. That was a week ago; i've only just realised that it wasn't a photo! That's how real it looks.
Fantasticly done!

No the hell it doesn't. It looks great the way it is. In most cases, art is supposed to feel natural to produce and whatever feels fun and natural for you. It doesn't "need more touch". That's noob talk.
